Ansonia PD: Driver fled traffic stop, struck pedestrian; 2 men still at large
Officers tried to stop a silver Audi, but the driver sped off, driving north in a southbound road, then crashed into another car, a fire hydrant, a person and a tree.

men involved in a crash that injured a pedestrian and several others in a
car Friday afternoon.
Officers tried to stop a silver Audi, but
the driver sped off, driving north in a southbound road, then crashed into
another car, a fire hydrant, a person and a tree.
The pedestrian and several people in the
other car were taken to the hospital.
Police say the two men in the Audi ran off
after their car crashed and were last seen running toward Fourth Street.
Ansonia Police is asking anyone with
information to call them.
