One man was arrested early Monday after a police chase ended with a car fire in Bridgeport.
State police say they spotted Anthony Isaac driving a stolen Jeep Cherokee and tried pulling him over near Exit 10 in Darien. Police say Isaac led them to Bridgeport, where he stopped the Jeep near the corner of Attwater and Norman streets.
Witnesses say Isaac got out of the Jeep and fled before the whole front of the vehicle burst into flames.
Police say they arrested Isaac after he escaped on foot. He has been charged with reckless driving and interfering with police.
