Teachers and volunteers were at Harding High School in Bridgeport today to celebrate the life of a student who was killed on Christmas Eve.
Connecticut Against Violence hosted an assembly at the school this morning along with Mayor Joe Ganim and superintendent of schools Fran Rabinowitz.
Organizers say they wanted to honor the life of Luis Colon.
Police say Colon was caught in the cross fire between two rival drug dealers.
So far, one man has been charged. Officers say they are planning to arrest another person.
