Alex Jones' Connecticut attorney, Norm Pattis, says he wants his law license suspension put on hold until an appeals court can decide his case.

A judge Thursday suspended Pattis' license for six months for misconduct.

Court officials say Pattis disclosed the Sandy Hook plaintiffs' personal information recklessly.

Pattis previous said it was an "innocent mistake."

In his file to put the suspension on hold, Pattis says he's critical to appealing Jones' $1.4 billion Sandy Hook verdict.
