Fairfield's fire marshal is investigating a blaze that broke out inside a home Monday night.
It happened at around 11:30 p.m. inside a home on South Benson Road.
Firefighters say the house is under renovation and no one was in it at the time.
The fire created heavy smoke that filled the home and the neighborhood. Several local fire crews were called to the scene to assist with putting it out.
