An autopsy concludes a young mother who fell down subway stairs in Manhattan died of natural causes.

The New York City Medical Examiner says Malaysia Goodson was living with heart and thyroid problems when she fell in January.

Goodson was carrying her 1-year-old child at the time of the fall. The child was unhurt.

The case led to a flurry of lawsuits calling for the MTA to install elevators at all subway stations.

The case will go forward now that a judge has rejected the MTA's motion to dismiss those suits.
