The public ticket sale for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour that was scheduled for Friday has been canceled due to "insufficient remaining ticket inventory."
Tickets for the tour went on presale starting Tuesday but have caused more frustration than satisfied fans.
Millions of fans tried, and failed, to get tickets to the singer's first tour in five years, but many got stuck in the hours-long queue. When it was finally their turn to purchase tickets, they were sent to the back of the queue again.
The issue was blamed on bots snatching the tickets before "Swifties" could get their hands on them.
On Thursday afternoon, Ticketmaster canceled the general sale for the tour entirely with no further explanation.
Swift has not yet commented on the situation.
