People searched for solace at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk Sunday amid the brutal heat and humidity.
The beach's splash pad was a popular spot for kids and their families.
"We are enjoying the day, we're throwing rocks in the water and we're going to try the splash pad," says Ben Stang of Norwalk.
