A local brewery is bringing beer and bocce to Downtown Bridgeport.
Berlinetta Brewing is celebrating its second anniversary this Saturday with something new for the summer.
A beer garden will open across the street and feature two bocce courts, plus a seating area.
The owners say bocce and beer are the perfect pair.
They say you can hold your beer in one hand and play bocce with the other.
"Bocce is not a huge sport so there's not a lot of courts around here and we're excited to bring it to Bridgeport. And It's a great activity to do while you're hanging out, drinking beer."
Starting this weekend, the beer garden will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until it gets too cold to play.
