While rains will continue through the overnight, the intensity of said precipitation begins to relax. The center of the weather feature that brought biblical rains to the area is sitting right on top of western Connecticut right now. While the rains have let up, there should be a few more passing showers into tomorrow as this storm continues to slowly unravel over southern New England.

The weather is much improved for Friday and Saturday. Sunny skies are expected and afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s. Clouds begin to collect on Sunday. It's possible another round of rain moves in Sunday night into Monday.
