The frigid airmass is behind us for now, as temperatures rise into the 40s with steady showers today. There's a slight chance of snow this weekend.
It's still very cold and breezy this morning with feel-like temperatures in the 20s. Clouds will thicken throughout the morning as temperatures climb to the mid-30s.
Today won't be as freezing as yesterday. A clipper system will bring steady showers after 3 p.m. through 8 p.m. today. Temperatures will be in the low-40s with increasing winds. Gusts up to 30 mph is expected this afternoon and evening.
Behind this storm system, a strong gust of wind settle in on Thursday. A cold gusty wind near 30-40 mph is expected with highs in the mid- to upper-30s. Wind chill values will be in the 20s all day.
The cold weather sticks around Friday through this weekend with temperatures in the 30s with a chance of snow.
Friday will be dry during the daytime hours with a slight chance of a few flakes at night into early Saturday morning.
Saturday is trending drier during the daytime hours. However, the storm we were previously monitoring is tracking more South and decreasing our chances of seeing accumulating snow on Sunday. We're now leaning more towards a few flurries Saturday night into Sunday morning. There's still some uncertainty with the exact timing and impacts. Stay tuned for updates!
