A new farmers market is serving up fresh produce on Brewster Street this season.
Vendors at the Black Rock Farmers Market set up shop selling locally grown organic fruits and vegetables Saturday. They also have bread, cheese, syrup and honey available.
Area chefs treated shoppers to cooking demonstrations, and organizers say they have some special events planned throughout the month.
The Black Rock Farmers Market will be open every Saturday through October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
