Sen. Richard Blumenthal says the state is in danger of not receiving FEMA dollars to help with long-term clean-up efforts in the wake of flood damage.
He added small business owners are still trying to rebuild their lives after flood damage last year.
"We're hearing that Elon Musk and his DOGE 'techbros' are blocking FEMA payments for disaster relief that have been promised to North Carolina, Florida and other states, possibly affecting Connecticut because we need and deserve that flood relief and we are going to fight to make sure we receive it."
