An underwater boat specialist from Black Rock is being hailed as a hero for saving a Georgia couple?s boat from being destroyed Wednesday.

Kevin Blagys, of K.B. Dive Service, says he knew he had to help save Sandra and Chris Yarborough?s boat, named Jenny, which was tossed onto the rocks. The Yarboroughs, who sold all their possessions to buy Jenny, have survived two shipwrecks while attempting to fulfill their dream of sailing to Florida.

Sandra Yarborough says they made it to New York before her husband became ill and she started heading back to Bridgeport.

Yarborough says once her husband recovers, they?ll make another attempt to fulfill their dream.
