A boat and shed fire near Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk have prompted a police investigation, officials say.
First a shed housing furniture and equipment near a skate park on Calf Pasture Beach Road caught fire around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Fire officials say a 33-foot boat that was shrink wrapped and in winter storage then caught on fire about an hour later.
Both fires were extinguished, and no one was injured, officials say.
Both fires are being investigated by the Fire Marshal's Office and the Norwalk Police Detective Bureau.
Deputy Chief Albe Bassett says all fires are considered suspicious until proven other wise.
