Connecticut State Police were busy on the roads over the July 4 holiday weekend.

Between Thursday and Saturday, troopers responded to just over 4,000 service calls.

They made 963 traffic stops and arrested 25 people for driving under the influence.

Police also responded to nearly 250 crashes, including 26 with injuries and two that were fatal.
