Norwalk police are investigating after two bodies were discovered Sunday - one in Norwalk Harbor and the other in a Godfrey Street residence.
Police are still working to identify the man found dead off of Chimons Island Sunday morning at around 8:15 a.m. They believe the man drowned and was dead for less than 24 hours.
Police describe him as a white male in his 50s. They say he is 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build, dark hair and a full beard. The man's body has a tattoo of an eagle on the left bicep and a stud earring in the left ear. Norwalk detectives ask anyone who knows the man or knows of a missing person to contact them at 203-854-3011.
Police are also awaiting autopsy results on another man's body that was discovered Sunday. Police say the 36- or 37-year-old man was found in his Godfrey Street home by his roommate. They say the body may have been in the apartment for days, but are not releasing the man's name until his family is notified.
