The state's attorney for the District of Stamford released body camera footage from Wednesday's police-involved shooting in Bridgeport as part of their preliminary report.
The officers were responding to a call about an assault around 1 a.m., at a house on Clinton Avenue.
According to the report, the suspect, Juan Villa, was stabbing the victim in the head when the officers arrived.
It states that Officer Eliud Henry used his Taser, which is seen in the video, but it didn't work. Henry fired one shot from his gun, hitting Villa in the side.
