(06/15/07) THE BRONX (AP) - Bones found during a home-improvement project in Parkchester are not human, according to the medical examiner.
Workers knocking down a shed turned up three pieces of bone and a gun. Investigators don't know how or when they came to be lodged in the backyard shed off Saint Lawrence Avenue in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.
The gun was rusted, and the weapon and the bones may have been buried for years. Contractors made the find Thursday.
