2ds agoNews 12 has learned a Brazilian national living in Bridgeport, and wanted for statutory rape of a minor has been arrested.
Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston had been looking for the 40-year-old fugitive since June 2022.
Deportation officers apprehended him last month.
The Brazilian national entered the U.S. as a tourist in March 2022.
He remained in the United States for more than a year beyond the legally authorized time period.
