News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says winter’s last gasp will be Sunday with temperatures in the 20s but feeling more like the teens.
Winds will continue to pick up and out of the northwest through tomorrow. Gusts approaching 25-30 mph will make it feel colder.
High temperatures in the afternoon will range from 40-42.
Spring arrives Monday and temperatures will start to warm up. Milder days ahead for most of next week with a threat for rain the second half of the week. Temperatures could even climb into the 60s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs around 50 and lows around freezing.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.
WEDNESDAY: Increasing clouds with a shower chance late. Highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with light showers or sprinkles. Highs near 60 and lows in the 40s.
INTO THE WEEKEND: Cloudy, rainy, and breezy. Highs in the 50s.
