A Bridgeport 10-year-old was honored by state and local leaders for raising money for college by selling lemonade after school and on weekends.
Jaylen Gross says he’s already raised $1,000.
The fourth-grader at Jetti Tisdale School says he doesn't want to burden his family with the cost of tuition, or have to rely on student loans to go to college.
Gross says he turns his profits over to his grandmother, who started a college fund for him once his lemonade stand began taking off.
