Bridgeport allocates portion of ARPA funds to help small businesses 

Officials said more than $250,00 will go to assist small businesses owners of low to moderate income.

Bridgeport city officials announced allocations of the American Rescue Plan will go to help small businesses and local workforce.
Officials said more than $250,00 will go to assist small businesses owners of low to moderate income.
Loan credit lines will vary between $5,000 to $100,000.
The funds will also provide pre-and post-loan counseling as well as a targeted business plan.
Mayor Joe Ganim said services will be provided in both English and Spanish.
