Bridgeport police are searching for a man caught on camera trying to rob a restaurant.
It happened at Crown Fried Chicken on Boston Avenue Saturday.
Police say the man tried to get money from the register. That's when employee Hamid Abdul grabbed the suspect by the arm and jumped onto the counter, prompting the suspect to take off.
Bridgeport police say they don't recommend people doing what Abdul did even though it's just natural instinct.
Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police.
