The largest gun buyback program in Bridgeport history collected 104 weapons today.

Police are offering up to $200 for a working handgun and $75 for a rifle. Town officials say they received more than a hundred weapons so far and paid out more than $13,000.

Mayor Bill Finch initiated the buyback in the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre. The program will continue tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and every Saturday in January.
