Hall Neighborhood House on the East Side of Bridgeport has been awarded a $4.5 million federal grant to help expand its services to senior citizens in the community.
Hall Neighborhood House serves people of all ages with everything from day care to medical care.
The head of the nonprofit, Bob Dzurenda, says more money will help expand services.
Dzurenda says the $4.5 million grant will allow Hall Neighborhood to triple its senior program and enable seniors who have been on a long waiting list to finally start receiving services.
