A Bridgeport man is expected to go before a judge today after investigators say he had three children living in deplorable conditions inside a home where he was running a drug factory.
Police say they found bedbugs, maggots and rotting food inside the home on Jane Street during a raid this week.
Investigators say 27-year-old Fernando Pusey also had a large amount of heroin, marijuana and cash in the home.
Police say the conditions in the home were terrible and no one should have to live like that.
Investigators say the Department of Children and Families has been contacted and is investigating.
Police say Pusey had just been released from prison after serving time for assault with a firearm.
