A Bridgeport man was charged for allegedly fleeing the scene of a fatal hit-and-run earlier this month.
Police say that Shamario Hanson, 21, turned himself in Tuesday after an arrest warrant was issued.
Hanson allegedly hit and dragged Christopher Mann, 36, while driving on East Main Street near Autumn Street on May 7.
Mann died from massive head trauma.
Police say that surveillance video captured the incident. They were able to locate Hanson's silver Dodge Charger in Bridgeport.
"Just to flee the area the way this guy did it's unconscionable, and we're not going to allow that here in Bridgeport," says Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez.
Mann lived a few blocks away from where he was killed.
Hanson posted a $25,000 bond.
