A man in Bridgeport has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for killing his girlfriend and a family friend.
Officials said Tarik Francis shot Candace Goodwin and Austin Burgher inside a home on Platt Street in September 2021.
Francis was found guilty of murder in October and received his sentence this week.
