A Bridgeport nonprofit is inviting the public to a free event this week to help people better manage stress.
The head of LifeBridge, Edith Boyle says the annual symposium is "Courage to Understand".
The event unites Bridgeport leaders, educators and residents.
Boyle says the goal was to create a safe community that supports healing.
The free event takes place Thursday at the University of Bridgeport at 5:45 p.m.
