Bridgeport officials are seeking public input on implementing red light cameras in the city.

If approved, the cameras would be placed in dangerous intersections. The cameras would document violations and send tickets to the drivers in the mail.

Public input is encouraged by Mayor Joe Ganim to ensure the right decisions are made to help pedestrians.

The mayor also says he will be reaching out to the City Council for input.
