Bridgeport officials are issuing a public safety message about the high rate of suicide during the holiday season.
They are urging people who feel depressed or suspect a loved one is depressed to reach out for help. The Connecticut Suicide Hotline can be reached by calling 800-784-2433.
“These holidays have been tough. 2020 has been tough. We want to let you know that this world is a better place with you in it,” says State Rep. Chris Rosario.
