Parents at a Bridgeport school say they are upset with the way staff members are handling a bed bug scare. Parents say Central High School officials are trying to hide reports of a bed bug infestation after announcing the discovery of a single bug last week. Officials say they spent Wednesday and Thursday exterminating and that a letter was sent out to students' homes. "As soon as they found out, they should have called us and let us know," says parent Sandra Latorre. The letter only informs parents of an issue that is being addressed.
