Bridgeport police have identified the man shot to death on Hewitt Street earlier this month.
They say 48-year-old Derek Martin was shot in the torso on Jan. 9 and died at a hospital shortly after.
Police say an altercation started inside a house and continued outside onto the porch.
They say Martin knew his attacker.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Bridgeport Police Department.
