Bridgeport police investigate 2 separate shootings

St. Vincent's Hospital notified police that a man in his early 20s arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle with a gunshot wound to his thigh. He is in stable condition.

Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened in Bridgeport Monday night within four hours of each other.

St. Vincent's Hospital notified police that a man in his early 20s arrived at the hospital in a personal vehicle with a gunshot wound to his thigh. He is in stable condition.

Police say they believe the shooting happened on High Ridge Drive around 6:40 p.m.

The second shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. Authorities say a man in his 30s was shot in the abdomen.

Police say they responded to a convenience store on Fairfield Avenue after the victim walked up to the store's front window bleeding from his stomach. He is in stable condition.

Details surrounding the shooting or arrests were not made available.
