A man was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Daron Jones, 31, on Sept. 27, police say.

Jarrel Baker, 33, was arrested earlier Monday for possession of a handgun. Detectives say Baker later confessed to using that gun to kill Jones over a dispute with a friend of his.

Baker has been charged with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit along with the original gun charges.

He is being held on $1 million bond.
