Bridgeport police are investigating a possible attempted abduction near Barnum School Thursday morning. Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz says a man approached a female student as she was walking to school.

Bridgeport police are investigating a possible attempted abduction near Barnum School Thursday morning.
Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz says a man approached a female student as she was walking to school.
Rabinowitz says the girl claims the man tried to touch her. Rabinowitz says the girl walked away, but the man followed her.
Rabinowitz is reminding students and parents to remain vigilant, advising students not to walk alone.
Police say the man could be Hispanic, wearing sunglasses, a hat, a gray hoodie and black pants.
Residents say they also heard of a report that a student was followed by someone several months ago.
