Bridgeport police seize 105 pounds of illegally-sold cannabis

Police say this is the second seizure from the store in just a few months. In November, about 135 pounds of marijuana was confiscated.

Three Bridgeport vape shop employees accused of illegally selling marijuana are now facing charges.

Police say that about 105 pounds of cannabis and THC-related products were seized from Dubai High Tobacco & Vape at 51 Boston Ave.

The following employees were arrested:

  • Henry Inoa Aponte – security guard 

  • Joey J. Diaz – store clerk 

  • Jesus Sabino Arroyo Henrick – store clerk

Officers also seized $6,788 in what they believed to be proceeds from the illegal sales.

Police say this is the second seizure from the store in just a few months. On Nov. 10, 2025, officers say they found around 135 pounds of marijuana.

The Bridgeport Building Department has issued a stop work order at the business for “onsite violations.”
