Police say they have stepped up patrols after the murder of three young men in Bridgeport Tuesday night.
Authorities say 26-year-old Jermaine Brown and 23-year-old William Cruz died after they were shot at around 8 p.m. on Norman Street. Just 30 minutes later, Scott Nishball was stabbed to death on nearby Stillman Street.
The families of the victims are shocked by the slayings.
?It's sad that the good die young,? says Brown?s cousin, Shalena Wilson.
Police are urging anyone with information about the killings to come forward.
