The Bridgeport Police Department worked with other state and local departments for a warrant sweep meant to take people with outstanding arrest warrants into custody.
Police say the focus of this sweep was domestic violence, with 28 warrants served and 22 suspects brought into custody over a 24-hour time span.
State police, Trumbull police and Monroe police were among the departments that assisted in the sweep.
