Bridgeport police are warning residents to be careful with their holiday packages after thieves were caught on camera taking some right off people's porches.
Videos posted to the Ring app from doorbells on the city's East Side show a rash of porch pirates walking off with freshly delivered packages and checking for unlocked car doors.
In one instance, the suspect tucks his prize into a city recycling bin and drags the whole thing away.
The best way to protect yourself is to make sure those packages don't stay on your porch too long.
