10h agoA woman is facing charges after apparently shooting herself in the leg, according to Bridgeport police.
Officers say they were called to Bridgeport Hospital on a report of a gunshot.
Upon arriving, hospital staff informed them that Yolanda Alvarez’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
Alvarez is charged with breach of peace and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
