Bicycle enthusiasts in Bridgeport took to the streets for a moonlit ride under the spectacle of the Sturgeon Moon.
Dubbed the Bridgeport Moon Cruise, this nighttime bike ride commenced from the Bridgeport Creates studio on Main Street and concluded at Seaside Park. The participants gathered for an evening of camaraderie and cycling under the backdrop of a supermoon.
NASA confirms that the Sturgeon Moon, often called a supermoon due to its large appearance, will stay in its full phase for three days. This phenomenon began early Monday morning and will last into the early hours of Thursday.
The Bridgeport Moon Cruise provides a unique opportunity for community members to engage in outdoor activities while appreciating the beauty of the night sky.
