The Bridgeport school community is reeling after the son of a guidance counselor was killed in an accident along I-95 in Milford. The victim, 26-year-old Chauncey Shoulders, was the son of Cheryl Shoulders, who works at Jettie S. Tisdale Elementary School. Employees at the school say he spent countless hours volunteering there and became a familiar face to both students and faculty. Authorities say Shoulders was killed when his car stopped suddenly on I-95 and was struck by the vehicle behind him. Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
