Victims of a shooting at a Bridgeport housing complex say the city isn't doing enough to help them move to a safer location.
Nine people were shot last month at Trumbull Gardens. Some of the victims told News 12 that they want to move because they fear for their safety since the gunmen are still at large.
Bridgeport's housing director said he can probably move the victims into another housing project, but he admits they have high crime rates too.
Many of the victims are asking for Section 8 housing vouchers to rent their own apartments, but the city said there are strict federal rules for who qualifies.
