A new space that is open in Bridgeport is meant to give young people a safe place to hang out.
The Serenity Garden at Pearl Harbor Street, which opened Sunday, features a garden and an art show. Organizers say they hope to get kids off the street and teach them about art and nature.
Organizers hope to build more of these gardens around the city.
