A Bridgeport man who survived the Boston Marathon bombings is reflecting on his experiences on the two-year anniversary of the attacks.
Tom Bodine was at the finish line of the Boston Marathon two years ago. Three people were killed in the explosions and more than 260 others were wounded.
"We saw people flying through the air and all the carnage" says Bodine.
Bodine says that it's been hard for him to get over the traumatic event, but that something positive did come from the experience. Bodine met his girlfriend Risa Rose, a fellow survivor who he can relate to.
"The time helps, but that emotion is always there" says Bodine.
