A Bridgeport teen made national headlines after hitting a golf ball into a hole during the first game of the WNBA playoffs.
Cecilia Belton, 15, got featured on national TV, making it to the ESPN’s Top Ten play list.
Belton attended the Connecticut Sun game against the Minnesota Lynx with her parents in Uncasville. She was randomly selected and asked if she wanted to try her luck with the contest golf shot.
"You never played golf before in your life, and you make a hole-in-one on live national TV," said Belton.
The Bridge Academy sophomore is a big Connecticut Sun fan and says this is an experience she’ll never forget.
Belton has been an accomplished basketball player and hopes to one day play in the WNBA.
