Officials in Bridgeport are offering a sneak peek of the upcoming "The Bridgeport Family Health & Wellness Clinic," a free health facility set to open soon in the downtown area.
The clinic, situated at 99 Middle St., is strategically located to ensure easy accessibility for residents.
According to Sumit Sharma, Acting Bridgeport Health & Social Services Director, its proximity to the bus route and the nearby train station will facilitate convenient access.
Moreover, the clinic will provide health care services at no cost to uninsured or underinsured Bridgeport residents. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to partake in health education sessions covering various topics, empowering them to make informed decisions about their well-being.
Sharma announced that the clinic is scheduled to commence operations on Oct. 1, replacing the former facility situated in the 700 block of East Main Street.
