Iris Seda, of Bridgeport, says Christmas came early on Giving Tuesday. "Amy's Angels, an amazing nonprofit, finished building a wheelchair ramp in my backyard today - and that's a gamechanger for me, because I care for my 75-year-old dad, who has Alzheimer's, and he's wheelchair-bound," Seda said. News 12 first told Seda's story in September, when she started a GoFundMe in an effort to get a ramp built - but she didn't raise enough money. News 12 shared Seda's story with Bob Fiondella of Amy's Angels in Simsbury, and the nonprofit stepped in to build the ramp. "It is very moving. I mean, it's what it's all about - and it makes all the hard work that a lot of us put into Amy's Angels worth it," Fiondella said.
